Kate's birthday is coming up and she had requested a pink "Lila". For any of you that are newer to my blog you may ask yourself, "Who is Lila". Lila is an adorable little lamb that Kate received on her first birthday from a good friend of mine. Lila is Kate's so called "blankie". She must always have her Lila when she takes a nap, goes to bed or any other time she thinks. She pretty much wants to take Lila anywhere we go.About two weeks ago I asked Kate what she wanted for her birthday. She said a princess dress and a pink Lila and boy has she stuck to it. I looked up Lila online where she was purchased from to see if she came in pink, she did not. So my mom convinced Kate that we could dye Lila pink for her. My mother in law came to town on Wednesday and she instructed me in the ways of dyeing objects. So needless to say Kate now has her pink Lila and she is very happy about it and is always saying how beautiful Lila is pink. She is all girl and as you can see by the photo above loves to look as girly as possible (she is holding her dear Lila).
