Preschool Graduation!!

Nick had his little preschool graduation the end of May and as pathetic of a blogger I have become I am just now blogging about it in July. ( I know - I really need to get my life in order.)
He is such a handsome little guy as you can see by the adorable photo below. I must say as Nicklas gets older the kid is way to analytical- that kid comes up with some deep questions- I have to say. I am worried for him because he is always worried about something he thinks isn't going to work out like- Does Dad know where that is?, How am I going to reach? etc., etc. Hopefully some of that will wear off in the next year or two. All I know is that kids head is constantly going and he has more questions than anyone! He definitely keeps me on my toes and my mind sharp.. Gotta love him.

This is Nicklas with his two best buddies, Caleb and Rhett.

This is Miss Tami ( his preschool teacher ).
She will be in for a shock next year with our little character Kate joining her class.

Nick is happy to say goodbye to preschool. He can't wait to start Kindergarten and go to school every day like his big brother. I know he is going to love school.

3rd Grade Opera- A Potion to change the World

The Flying Squirrels!!
I really must say how impressed I was with all that Alex did this year. The 3rd Grade was awesome. He had wonderful teachers, that both him and I both adored- Mrs. Bell, Mrs. Bitner and a great student teacher Mrs. Davis. The end of May Alex's class put on an opera they had been working on since October. They wrote the opera themselves and did all the scenery also. I really have to say it was impressive ( I know - I am probably a little biased about the whole thing but it was great). Alex and a bunch of his buddies choose to be the flying squirrels and they did a wonderful job. What a great learning opportunity for a bunch of 8 & 9 year olds. Way to go kids - you are all very talented and worked very hard to put on a great Opera!!!

Adventures with Kate #3

I'm at Target the other day, (sadly enough I went there twice this week- I love that store) with Kate and Nicklas. As Nicklas and I are looking at some new church pants for him Kate manages to find a bra ( a little girl bra). Kate immediately held it up to her chest and said, "Can we buy me these boobies." Nicklas and I started chuckling as Kate continued to say it about 5 more times. This girl really provides our family with a great deal of laughs.
