New School Year

Alex started 3rd grade this week. I can't believe he is already in the 3rd grade, I am very excited for him. This year he has two teachers that split the day, Mrs. Bell and Mrs. Bitner. He will also have a student teacher Mrs. Davis. He seems to really be enjoying school so far, he should be, a ton of his friends are in his class. He also said his teachers are really nice. I hope he has a great year and learns a lot.

Nicklas is going to preschool for another year. He is very excited to start next week. He will still be going to Miss Tami's and he is excited to be going with his friends Rhett and Caleb again. He is already complaining about Alex being gone all day and he should have enjoy having his own schedule to look forward to.

Nick's New Shoes

Handsome Nicklas!
Here is cute Nick in his new tennis shoes- He got to pick them out all by himself ( under moms approval - of course) and was very proud of himself.. He is getting so big, he is almost five and my how time flies. He is really looking forward to going back to preschool next month and I know is going to have a wonderful school year. Nick is a very good helper and I am proud of him for being a good brother to Alex and Kate. He is a sweetie and I love him very much.

I'm Cold!!

Kate's latest thing is she is cold. She wants to wear socks every single day. This particular day she decided she wanted to where a parka vest also. She probably would have requested gloves had she seen any. She provides us a lot of laughs and my how we love and adore her.

Cub Country

Cub Country- Just another great thing about turning 8! Alex got to experience Cub Country on his birthday and with his Dad tagging along. How much better can it get. I must admit his was a little hesitant about going but when he got home it was clear he had a wonderful time (especially by the obscene amount of dirt he was covered in).

They got to do an obstacle course- which of course his dad said he did awesome in. ( he even crossed these monkey bars without any help)!

Even Bryan got in on the action! Go Bryan!!

Alex got to shoot bow and arrows- What could be cooler than that! He even hit the target!

All in all I think day one was a success. Alex came home the second day and said it was even better - so I am happy to say Alex's first Cub Country Rocked!

Alex's Baptism

Alex's big day was Saturday August 2nd. He was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We are very proud of his decision to be baptized and know he will be blessed by it. We are also proud of him for always setting a good example for Nicklas and Kate. We had a nice afternoon with family and are grateful they were able to come share in the important event with us.
